UAE Envoy presents his credentials to King of Cambodia

WAM Cambodia-Phnom Penh, Nov. 20, 2010 (WAM)--King of Cambodia Norodom Sihamoni received at his Palace UAE Ambassador to Thailand Mohammed Ali Omran Al Shamsi, who presented his credentials as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the UAE to the Kingdom of Cambodia.

He conveyed the regards of President H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai H. H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to the King of Cambodia and the royal family, wishing them good health.

The UAE envoy stressed keenness of the UAE to develop the bilateral relations with the kingdom, especially joint cooperation in the areas of trade, economy, tourism, health and other areas in the best interest of two peoples.

For his part, the King of Cambodia welcomed the UAE Embassy in his country and appreciated the efforts of officials to boost the bilateral relations, citing the international cooperation and humanitarian aid. In his turn, he conveyed his regards to the UAE President and the Vice President, wishing them good health and prosperity to UAE people.
